Sunni Schools in Lebanon : 7.4% of Lebanese students attend Sunni Schools

There are 102 Sunni schools in Lebanon divided between private schools with and without fees. With an overall number of 39,872 students, they account for 7.3% of the students in those schools. 7.4% of Lebanese students attend Sunni schools.

1- Private-free Sunni Schools

There are currently 42 private-free Sunni schools that take in 11,651 students. Consequently, private-free Sunni schools make up 11.5% of Lebanon’s private schools without fees (364 schools). The students make up 10.1% of the overall students in those schools (115,254).

2- Private Sunni Schools

There are 60 private Sunni schools with fees in Lebanon that take in 28,221 students. Consequently, they make up 5.8% of Lebanon’s total number of private schools with fees (1,025) and their students form 6.7% of the overall students in those schools (417,409).
