Druze Schools in Lebanon : Attended by 1.3% of Lebanon’s private school students

There are 19 Druze schools in Lebanon divided between private schools, with and without fees. With an overall number of 7,211 students they account for 1.37% of the total of Lebanese private school students.

The Monthly : Information International has deduced that the majority of those students are Druze due to the location of those schools in Druze-dominated areas.

1- Private-free Druze Schools

There are currently 9 private-free Druze schools in Lebanon that take in 2,889 students. Consequently, private-free Druze schools make up 2.4% of Lebanon’s private schools without fees (364 schools). The students make up 2.5% of the overall students in those schools (115,254 students).

2- Private Druze Schools

There are 10 private Druze schools with fees that take in 4,322 students. Consequently, they make up 0.97% of Lebanon’s total number of private schools with fees (1,025 schools) and their students form 1% of the overall students in those schools (417,409 students).
