Baalbek-Hermel Governorate
Baalbek-Hermel Governorate (mohafazah, muhafazah, محافظة) is one of eight governorates of Lebanon. It was founded in July 16th, 2003 (Act 522 of 16/07/2003).
Its administrative center is locate in the city of Baalbek.
During the municipal elections held in 2004, Baalbek-Hermel Governorate had 365 512 registered citizens including 199 254 voters. 1
