Beqaa Governorate
Beqaa Governorate (mohafazah, muhafazah, محافظة) is one of eight governorates of Lebanon.
It consists of three districts (kaza, قضاء), West Beqaa District, Rachaiya District and Zahleh District. City of Zahleh hosts its administrative center.
During the municipal elections of 2004, the Beqaa Governorate counted 416 379 registered voters of which 240 118 voters. 1
