Koura District
Koura District (kaza, caza, qadaa, قضاء) is one of six districts of North Lebanon Governorate.
It consists of coastal plain situated in the South of Tripoli, which is overhang by 800 metres height hills. It is bounded in the North and in the Northeast by Tripoli District and Zgharta District, in the East by Bcharreh District, and in the South by Batroun District. Its surface amounts to 1,9 square kilometers.
Koura District population is estimated to 68 160 inhabitants, what amounts to 1,6 % of the total population of Lebanon.
Its administrative center is locate in Amioun.
