Description:
Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is contributing $3 million to this project, designed to help vulnerable groups who were severely affected by the 2006 conflict to improve their living conditions. The project, managed by Oxfam-Québec, supports rural women. It also assists men and women who are proprietors of micro-businesses, including Palestinian refugees who do not live in camps officially recognized by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The Project ends in 2009.
