Location

The municipality of Chanay is located in the Kaza of Aaley one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Chanay is 25 kilometers (15.535 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 970 meters (3182.57 ft - 1060.792 yd) above sea level. Chanay surface stretches for 240  hectares (2.4 km² - 0.9264 mi²) .
