Location

The municipality of Charoun is located in the Kaza of Aaley one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Charoun is 31 kilometers (19.2634 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 1080 meters (3543.48 ft - 1181.088 yd) above sea level. Charoun surface stretches for 948  hectares (9.48 km² - 3.65928 mi²) .
