The municipality of Ballouneh is located in the Kaza of Kesrouane one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Ballouneh is 30 kilometers (18.642 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 650 meters (2132.65 ft - 710.84 yd) above sea level. Ballouneh surface stretches for 393  hectares (3.93 km² - 1.51698 mi²) .
