Location
The municipality of Fanar is located in the Kaza of Matn one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Fanar is 8 kilometers (4.9712 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 250 meters (820.25 ft - 273.4 yd) above sea level. Fanar surface stretches for 210 hectares (2.1 km² - 0.8106 mi²) .
