    The municipality of Yanta is located in the Kaza of Rachaiya one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Yanta is 79 kilometers (49.0906 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 1540 meters (5052.74 ft - 1684.144 yd) above sea level. Yanta surface stretches for 3111 hectares (31.11 km² - 12.00846 mi²) .
