Aanqoun (عنقون) is a Lebanese local authority which is located in Saida (Sidon) District (Qada'a), an administrative division of South Lebanon Governorate (Mohafazah). The municipality is member of Federation of Saida El Zahrani Municipalities.

Location

Municipality of Aanqoun is located in the Saida (Sidon) District one of South Lebanon Governorate kazas (disticts). South Lebanon Governorate is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 51 kilometers (31.6914 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 100 meters (1) (328.1 ft - 109.36 yd) above sea level. Aanqoun surface stretches for 920hectares (9.2 km² - 3.5512 mi²)(2).
