Invitation of Fédération des OEuvres Laïques To Tadamoun Wa Tanmia Association to participate in workshops on sustainable development – EUROMED Project

This year, as part of the Euromed project, the aim is to involve youth in sustainable development issues aiming at enhancing their daily practices to protect nature and environment.

In reference to the experience of last year, a preparatory meeting was organized on 26th and 27th of May 2010 at Plumaugat, in the presence of Morgan CREISMEAS, Christopher CAPEL (coordinator and facilitator at the FOL), Anwar AYEB (director of the seminar and president of Cooperation and Exchange Association), ACE Gabes from Tunisia, Layal IBRAHIM representative of Tadamoun Wa Tanmia Association and Hayan ABDALLAH representing the Lebanese delegation.

Several topics were discussed in the preparatory meeting including revising the rationale of the project, presenting the different expectations of participant associations, clarifying the methodology and practices to approach the topic of sustainable development and finally drafting the agenda and framework of the seminar.

The seminar will take place from 12th until 21st of July 2010. Lebanon, France, Tunisia and Poland will be the participating countries. Updates will be available according to the progress of the project.
